Environmental Monitoring and Laboratory Analysis in Jangkrik Field

Project Overview

Background

Drill development wells generate the waste water, cuttings, and water-based mud. These components were planned to be discharged to the surrounding subsea well area.

For instance, in order to ensure compliance within the threshold limits stated by government regarding the regulation of Environmental Protection Management and Hazardous Waste Management, BMT conducted the environmental monitoring and analysis as per applicable regulation, permit and standard.

Collected samples are comprised of broad ranges of chemical compounds and parameters which are analyzed at BMT's certified laboratory, such as Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH), waste water, total heavy metals, etc. All of the parameter samples list requirement from the customers have covered the list of our accreditation.

 What We Delivered

This project is consisted of two different activities: environmental monitoring and laboratory analysis.

• BMT conducted in situ measurements including sample preparation, transportation, and analysis both in blind samples and blind duplicates in accordance to the standard of ISO 17025-2017.

• Applicable Indonesian regulations are implemented into this project in order to manage laboratory operations, waste management, and effluent management. 

• Our credible and valid samples evidence were obtained by controlling the quality of the sample regularly.
